IPL 2019

The Indian Premier League is an internal T-20 cricket league which is located in India, but has great recognition and understanding all over the world. Since its inception in 2008, the IPL itself has created a name for itself, attracting one of the biggest names in the game, which takes part in the maximum action pack leagues. The league was run by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the former commissioner Lalit Modi had the idea.

Despite the confirmation by the BCB, there will be many expected tournaments starting March 23. The schedule for the first two weeks has been published. The dates of the remaining matches will be announced properly, as the 12th edition of the IPL will be matched with the general elections.

Chennai Super Kings will be the champions against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

IPL History

Indian Premier League (ICL) was formed after the Indian Premier League was formed, which was not recognized by the BCCI and was marked as a “rebel league”. In the first season of September 2008, the IPL was formally announced on September 13, 2007.

Over the years, the IPL is playing itself as the world’s largest domestic league in the world and is very profitable for players as well as administrators. According to Duff and Phelps, the brand value of the IPL is $ 6.3 billion in 2018.

IPL Format

The IPL always follows the round-robin format of the tournament, where each team plays with each other twice, in one game room and on the other hand. Four best teams from the table qualify for playoffs. There are two attempts to reach the first and second place finals.

But according to the election, the matches will not play at home and away. Instead, due to security on the day of the vote, some matches will be held in neutral venues.

IPL Parties

In the last edition of the IPL, eight teams will play eight teams. The teams are: Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Legendary Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Delhi Daredevils’ former franchise ‘Delhi Capitals’ was named for the new season.

IPL Compound

There was a lot of suspicion about IPL hosting during the Indian general election. As a result, rumors spread that the IPL 2019 could be held in South Africa or the United Arab Emirates, as was previously done in 2009 and 2014.

However, the BCCI has confirmed that the entire tournament will be held alongside the elections. Instead of changing the usual home and remote grounds for all games, some matches will be played in neutral venues on certain days to avoid conflicts. The organizers have rated 20 places.

The schedule for the first two weeks of the 2019 IPL season has been released. The date of the remaining match will be released soon.
